At Asda we spent 19 years on a journey of continuous cultural improvement, and from 1994 onwards the change was driven by placing “colleagues at the heart of the business”. Our people embodied the service culture and informed our “ Always Happy to Help” ethos , that connected our customers and drove loyalty to the Asda Business. Never, was there a better case study that proved the benefit of looking after the people that work for you, who in turn looked after the people who bought from you. Asda really led the way in developing leading- egde people plans that engaged colleagues and empowered them to be the best they could be at every level. – A shining light and plans that enabled colleague change across the entire colleague life-cyle, underpinned by a relentless passion for continuous improvement and cost saving.
