It was a branding exercise that informed the whole of the People strategy and defined and underpinned the colleague lifecycle from attraction through development to recognition , retention and beyond. It had huge commercial impact and drove better ROI's in recruitment , development, retention and reinforced George as an employer of choice in fashion retail. Life at George was an “ Adventure” and the people plan aligned to the journey as they moved from stores to online to becoming a truly international and omni-channel brand.
